Nearly time to return to work but not before sharing some of the things I got up to this Bank Holiday Weekend. Friday we went to The Making of Harry Potter at Warner Bros. Studio’s, this was part of my birthday present from my lovely boyfriend. I will just say now I adore the Harry Potter franchise, so this day out to me was the bee’s knees of a day trip. I just can’t get over how much goes into the production of these films. The day was spent boring Matt by explaining every feature of the tour in-depth, which film it was in, who wore it etc. Here are a few of my highlights….
It was an amazing day out, and the butter beer – well hello my new favourite soft drink. Keep your eyes peeled on my blog for a DIY butter beer recipe which I’m sure I’ll be on the hunt for soon.
On Saturday we went for a jolly to Harleston a little town in Norfolk with my Mum to visit one of my favourite places to vintage shop http://www.harlestoncornucopia.co.uk/ it has cute little vintage stalls, a tiny pub, tea room and an old school sweet shop – gorgeous! We were pleased to find a craft and food fair was on too, I mean who doesn’t like a food fair. Between us we ate hotdogs, cupcakes and had our first waffle on a stick from http://thewaffleworks.co.uk/ which was delicious. I did not find anything to buy though which always makes me feel rather bare following an afternoon browsing.
After having two scrumptious meals with our families, copious amounts of easter eggs and a little too much vino I’m now sitting in a food/bank holiday coma, preparing for the return to work tomorrow – oh and my birthday! Hope everyone had a lovely easter!
