I’m back! After my amazing Christmas break, I’m back for 2016 with a whole load of blog posts ready for my lovely readers. I would firstly like to say Happy New Year and I hope 2016 brings you lots of happiness. I am so excited to see the future of my blog after such amazing growth in 2015 ❤
The first post I have for you is a little review on one of my current beauty obsessions the Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick Pencils. I have been using these everyday since I purchased the shade Nude Perfection back in December. These lipstick kohl pencils are a great base for your lips and I use them as a full lip liner. They are perfect for over lining for that fuller lip look and can be worn on their own or under any other lip product.

So far I have picked up the colours Nude Perfection, which is the perfect darker toned nude. Minimalist which is a super cute rose pink & Keep It Classy this shade is a gorgeous vibrant plum. The formula of the pencils is pretty amazing, they are creamy and very pigmented. They give definition to the lip without bleeding. Small word of advice though is a tip that I have found with complete overuse that they can be quite drying so be sure to apply over or under lip balm to prevent cracking. The lasting power of these little pencils is incredible, I only find the need to touch up after eating.

My favourite way to wear this lip gear is underneath the Collection Cream Puff Matte Moisturising Lip Creams – which I will be making a post on at a later date (maybe my next post actually). You can pick the Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencils up from most beauty retailers in the UK, I got mine from Superdrug for £4.99 each. I would have picked them all up but they were sold out in my local store, so I’ll be keeping my eyes out for the rest!
Let me know if you have any of these and can recommend any of the other shades, or any other kohl lip pencils I’d love to check them out!
Thank you for all your views, subscriptions, comments and social media follows throughout 2015 it means so much! My 2016 goal is to post much more regularly so I’ll be back in a few days with another post 🙂
