October Obsessions

Hey All,

Another month of 2015 down, I just have no words… Okay maybe I do. As always October saw me obsessing over many a thing. It was a very good month for entertainment, I got into a lot of telly. Lots of new music released 100% into that. Of course beauty products dominated my thoughts and expenditure. So let’s have a snoop at what I was obsessing over in October.

My Three New Favourite Apps!

Something different for you all today, I went on a bit of a ‘free app spree’ the other Saturday morning and have found some gems I’m going to share with you.

  1. Paperless Post – I am a fully converted online card purchaser (normally personalised) & I am occasionally partial to sending cards via email especially in regards to thanking and congratulating within the blogosphere. I have found the perfect app for sending cards via e-mail. Paperless Post has the most amazing range of cards designed by themselves and many other designers including Kate Spade, I love Kate Spade. Some of the cards and invitations are free designs others you have to use credits to purchase. When you create an account you are given 35 free credits and from there you can purchase credits from £4.49. It’s such a handy app if you have lots of people you would like to thank, congratulate plus everything in between but no time to go to the shop and post cards. The designs are also prettier than shop most shop bought cards. The app is free on the app store, it doesn’t however mention that it is available on android.

Another month of 2015 down, man where is this year going? I have had an amazing month I must say. I have started regularly blogging again which makes me happy. We went to Bestival to see my thoughts on that check out my post on it here. Me & Matt celebrated two years together – soppy I know. I finished my CIPP Payroll Technician Course, awaiting results. To top it all off I started my Make Up Artistry Level 3 Course which is another thing to keep my brain and creativity in lock for another year. Of course this month there have been lots of things I have been obsessing over, so let me share them with you.

Autumnal Candle Picks!

Hello Beauties, another seasonal change post for you, I’m embracing the fact summer has gone for once. Tonight I’m sharing with you my top scented candle choices for Autumn. As my summer scented True Grace Apple Blossom & Village Candle Fresh Sea Salt are on their last burns, I figured it’s time to bring some of those warmer scents in to my home. The issue I have with choosing candles is that they all look, sound and most importantly smell delicious. I have whittled my selection down to 13 believe me I could of chose about 50 whilst doing my research. I have tried to find candles that bridge the gap between the start of colder weather with warmer scents but not pushing it too far towards winter/christmas scents (save those for another post later in the year).

Fall/Winter Casual Footwear Wishlist :)

That time of year is here again, when the nice rose gold sandals and white converse get put back in the shoe cupboard. But all is not lost as this opens up the fall/winter shoe shopping opportunity – woohoo! Any chance to update the wardrobe I’m all over it ❤ I have been window shopping online since the usual suspect wage receiving websites have been e-mailing me with the subject line ‘New Season Arrivals’. I wanted to share with you a very slim-lined selection of shoes on my Autumn/Winter wish list. When the great British weather strikes I will be armed with Chelsea Boots, Thigh High Boots and Sneakers! And probably far too many other shoe type options & far too many variations 😉
